What a great turnout to our spring conference. total of 13 Vendors and 204 attendees from across the US. Greater North Carolina SGNA has a lot to be proud of. We provided 9.25 contact hours to 174 nurses and 30 associates. 64% of the attendees were SGNA members. 

We gave out 5 memberships and 6 future conference vouchers to our attendees.  Here are some of the post event comments from our attendees:

This was a great conference. I enjoyed all the presentations and speakers!

Sometimes when the presenters were speaking it was hard to understand. The speakers did a good job, but at times some of the information was rather obtuse. I appreciate your hosting the conference.

Great conference, my only suggestion as a virtual participant was to use portable mics as it was difficult to hear at some points.

Have a discussion about the issue of patient noncompliance 

Parul Kharod was difficult to understand due to echo on audio virtually. Other speakers there was no issues ( Dr. Lawal corrected that issue of an echo).

Best conference yet! 

Would have liked a few more opportunities to win either memberships or conference vouchers for virtual audience.  During business meeting all 5 memberships were given to in person.  Would have been nice to have at least 1 or 2 for the virtual group.  Otherwise, great conference with excellent speakers and topics

Conference was great! Happy to have the virtual option. I was originally in person but my son got sick and I was unable to attend in person. Catherine easily switched me to virtual and I was able to attend and care for my son. Greatly appreciated!!

Wake Med did a great job with hosting. Conference Center was  easy to find, all meals were delicious and plentiful, bathrooms were easily accessible and very clean. Great variety of topics that were very interesting as well as informative. As a GI Nurse with esophageal manometry experience, I was disappointed in the session about esophageal diagnosis and PH studies. It covered too much and more geared at a physician level.

Very good conference! I am very glad that there was very little if any technical issues for us who did virtual. 

All of the speakers were knowledgeable and presented content relative to my practice. This was an excellent conference. I would love to be provided the opportunity to attend virtually next year also.

Great topics and chosen speakers 

It was hard to understand the nutrition and the motility segments in particular. Being able to see the speaker did help being able to understand what they were saying. It was a great conference and affordable. Looking forward to fall conference, Hello to Cathy and Sherri B!

Wonderful conference! I was a bit concerned about attending virtually but it was great and I was able to stand and stretch, while continuing to listen, at my leisure. I would definitely attend another conference virtually. 

Excellent conference. Great variety of speakers who did excellent jobs!!! Virtually it was harder to hear when the speaker moved around- I can imagine that is hard for them to want to stand still. Questions from the audience really need to be done with a microphone so we virtually can hear. Not that those are complaints but more suggestion. Loved how so many speakers provided the future of endoscopy with their talks!! 

This conference was so informative.  The topics were of interest.  The guest speakers were very knowledgeable and enjoyed everyone.  Thank You for the virtual component of this conference.   Cathy , your team did  a fantastic job in hosting this year's Spring Conference.

Hackensack University Medical Center in NJ  just had our Tri-Regional SGNA Conference in the Fall - hopefully next time can be on Zoom also!
